Mount Kailash, known as “Gang Rinpoche” in Tibetian, has the highest elevation of (6,638m/21,773ft), is pilgrimage destinations of four different religions: Bon, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism. Mount Kailash is observed to be most religious place on the Planet and is a part of Transhimalaya in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Mount Kailash is nearby two holy lakes: Manasarovar Lake and Lake Rakshastal. For the Hindus, Kailash is the abode of Lord Shiva, a symbol of his power and Mansarovar Lake mean Soul of Brahma. Jains believe that Ashtapada, the mountain next to Mt. Kailash, is the place where the first Jain attained liberation.  Buddhists believe that Buddha Cakrasamvara who represents supreme bliss lives in Mount Kailash. Bon followers believe that Mount Kailash and the surrounding region is the “seat of all spiritual power.” This exotic pilgrimage and sightseeing journey will let you visit the cultural and unseen city of Lhasa and its ancient artifacts, cultural shrines and monasteries, fascinating touristic destination and cultural villages. The 53KM Kailash circuit is the holiest of all-Hindus as well as Buddhists pilgrimages and the beacon, which attracts most travelers to western Tibet. After breakfast leave from Kathmandu and during the journey we will see countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hill, rivers, waterfall, farms and beautiful scenery’s, after that, you will reach Kodari as people know as friendship bridge of Nepal – China Border. It will take 5 hours drive from Kathmandu. You have to walk around 10 minutes to the friendship bridge and during that, you can’t take any photo around the border by camera and mobile, if you take photos you will be in a lot of problem in custom and we are not going to be responsible for that. After completing necessary formalities regarding immigration custom you will meet our Tibet agency tour Guide in immigration. Drive from Nyalam to Saga (4,450m/14,596ft) via Lalung La Pass (5,050m/16,564ft) – 365km – 6/7 hours. The journey through to Lalung la pass  (5,050m/16,564ft) and from the pass seeing the Himalayan range of Mt. Shishapangma (8,021m/26,304ft) and landscape of Tibet. The drive from Nyalam to Dongba through into the sandy and rocky lands in Tibet, you will find nomads where there are thousands of Sheep and Yaks, after that Alliance Adventure staff stop for lunch around Pekhu Tso Lake. After lunch journey through to Bhramha Purtra Riverway to Tibetan typical city of Saga. Saga is a big city in the town and gets available facilities way to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Drive from Saga to Mansarovar (4,600m/15,088ft) – 507km – 7 to 8 hours. After breakfast, the journey through into the snow-covered peaks and a small town of Zhongba before reaching Paryang. After Paryang several hours drive offering the first view of Mt. Kailash Holy Parbat and Mansarover Lake. Mansarovar Lake is 102km and it takes 3 to 5 days for one rotation on foot. Drive from Mansarovar to Darchen (4,600m/15,088ft) – 40km. Today in the morning take a Bath and Puja in Mansarover lake according to Hindu religion prayers to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parbati. After complete the Puja sharing happiness each other by hugging and then toward to Darchen and it is considered as a base for Mt. During the yatra, it would be really tough or would like to make easy to Kora will available to rent Pony and Potter for 3 days and if would want Pony and Potter you should inform to the company early. Once you reach top sit down and meditation to forget yourself and after that trek through along the way down catching Parbati-Stal and Gauri Kunda. After completing the custom goodbye to Tibet Guide and Driver then follow up the drive back to Kathmandu Driver. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Keep all receipts that you have until you back to your home.
  • No flashy stuff-jewelry, valuables etc.
  • Strongly advised not to go wandering unless in large group (the “poor” men would have to suffer at the hands of the ladies who would want to shop), Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Do not / not give money to street children/beggars.
  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus & Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.

THINGS TO BRING

  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • Day bag pack around 30 to 35 litters.
  • If you taking any regular medicines.
  • Water bottle /Thermos flask for hot water (2 litters bottle).
  • raincoat, Umbrella, walking stick, Sandal & Shower shop, Shampoo, Toothpaste, toothbrush, Toilet pepper, Tawal etc.
  • You have to bring your own energy bars during your  Kailash tour if you filling hungry on the way & at night.

AFTER TRIP CONFIRMATION

  • You must start to train yourself if possible every day 2/3 hours if can’t once a week or 1 day hiking in Mountain 4/5 hours.
  • We need your flight detail and your passport photocopy and passport size photo for the Kailash travel permit and Tibet visa.
