Pashupatinath Temple (5km east of Kathmandu), Pashupatinath is the Hindus holy pilgrims, most important Hindu Temple in Nepal and all over from India.  Bathing at occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats and Stands on the banks of Bagmati River.The temple was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979 AD.

Boudhanath Stupa, also known as the Buddha Eye Stupa, is one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in Nepal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists. The stupa’s rich history, religious importance, and architectural grandeur make it a symbol of Nepal's cultural and spiritual heritage.

Boudhanath Stupa, dates back over 1,500 years. It was originally constructed in the 5th century during the reign of the Licchavi King Mandev. According to legend, King Mandev built the stupa as an act of penance for mistakenly killing his father. Another story credits a poultry-keeper widow named Jyajima and her four sons with constructing the stupa after receiving permission from the king.

The Kathmandu domestic Airport for your scenic flight to Nepalgunj Airport. Located in the western Terai region of Nepal, Nepalgunj serves as the main gateway for pilgrims and adventurers traveling to the remote Himalayan regions of Humla and the sacred Mount Kailash pilgrimage route.

Upon arrival at Nepalgunj Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for rest and preparation for the next stage of your journey. You may also explore the local markets and experience the unique cultural blend of Nepalgunj, a vibrant city near the Nepal–India border.

Early in the morning, transfer to Nepalgunj Airport for a spectacular mountain flight to Simikot Airport, the administrative center of Humla and the gateway to the remote trans-Himalayan region.

Upon arrival in Simikot, board a helicopter flight to Hilsa, flying over dramatic Himalayan landscapes, deep river gorges, and remote mountain settlements. After landing at Hilsa, complete the necessary immigration and border formalities before crossing into Tibet.

Meet your Tibetan guide and continue with a scenic drive to Purang (Taklakot), an important trading town and a key gateway to the sacred pilgrimage sites of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar.

Upon arrival in Purang, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening. The relatively moderate altitude makes Purang an ideal location for acclimatization before proceeding further into the Tibetan Plateau.

Today is an important rest and acclimatization day in Purang, located at around (3,900m/12,795ft) above sea level. This day allows your body to adjust gradually to the increasing altitude before continuing toward the sacred regions of Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash.

Spend a relaxed day exploring the small Tibetan town, surrounded by dramatic Himalayan landscapes. Take gentle walks, breathe the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the unique blend of Tibetan culture and high-altitude scenery. This is also a good time to rest, hydrate well, and prepare mentally and physically for the upcoming pilgrimage journey.

Your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the next stages of the trip, including travel routes, altitude awareness, and safety instructions. Avoid strenuous activity and focus on slow adaptation to the altitude.

After breakfast, depart from Purang and begin your spiritual journey toward the sacred waters of Lake Manasarovar. The drive offers breathtaking views of the high-altitude Tibetan Plateau, with vast open landscapes, snow-capped Himalayan peaks, and peaceful nomadic settlements along the way.

As you travel deeper into the holy region, the excitement builds for your first close encounter with one of the world’s most sacred lakes. On arrival at Lake Manasarovar, take time to absorb the serene atmosphere, crystal-clear waters, and stunning reflections of the surrounding mountains, including distant views of Mount Kailash on clear days.

This is a deeply spiritual moment for pilgrims of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon, where many choose to perform rituals, meditation, or simply sit in quiet reflection by the lakeside.

Wake up to the serene beauty of the sacred Lake Manasarovar and spend some peaceful moments by its holy shores. Pilgrims may take part in morning prayers, rituals, or meditation, soaking in the spiritual energy of one of the world’s most revered lakes.

After breakfast, drive to Darchen, the official base for the sacred Mount Kailash Kora. From here, continue to Yam Dwar, the traditional gateway of the pilgrimage, where your trekking journey begins.

Begin the first day of the Kora with a gradual trek through the beautiful Lha Chu Valley towards Dirapuk. Along the trail, enjoy stunning views of the northern face of the sacred Mount Kailash, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and the peaceful silence of the Himalayan wilderness.

Upon arrival at Dirapuk, witness one of the most breathtaking close-up views of Mount Kailash, especially magical during sunset when the mountain glows with golden light.

12 Days 4790 m. Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner Guest House

Today is the most challenging, rewarding, and spiritually significant day of the Mount Kailash Kora. After an early breakfast, begin the ascent from Dirapuk toward the legendary Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the pilgrimage.

The trail climbs steadily through a dramatic alpine landscape to Dolma La Pass (5,630m/18,471ft), a sacred site adorned with colorful prayer flags and revered by pilgrims as a place of spiritual transformation. From the pass, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and the sacred valley below. 

After crossing the pass, descend carefully past the holy Gauri Kund, a turquoise lake deeply revered in Hindu tradition. Continue trekking through rugged valleys, glacial streams, and beautiful Tibetan landscapes before reaching Zuthul Puk, famous for its historic meditation cave associated with the great Tibetan yogi Milarepa.

After an early breakfast, begin your final morning of the sacred Mount Kailash Kora from Zuthul Puk. The trail descends gently through a wide valley, following the river and prayer-flag-lined paths as you complete the last section of the pilgrimage.

Continue trekking towards Yam Dwar (also known as the “Gateway of the God of Death”), where pilgrims traditionally conclude the sacred circumambulation of Mount Kailash. Reaching Yam Dwar marks the successful completion of one of the world’s most spiritually significant journeys.

After completion of the Kora, meet your vehicle and drive back to Purang. The journey offers another opportunity to admire the vast Tibetan Plateau, with its open landscapes, distant snow peaks, and peaceful nomadic life.

Upon arrival in Purang, check into your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest after completing the sacred pilgrimage.

After breakfast, depart from Purang and drive towards the Nepal–Tibet border at Hilsa. Enjoy the final views of the Tibetan plateau as you descend toward the border region, passing rugged mountains and remote Himalayan landscapes.

Complete immigration and customs formalities at Hilsa before boarding a helicopter flight to Simikot Airport. From the air, witness dramatic aerial views of deep valleys, winding rivers, and untouched Himalayan terrain.

Upon arrival in Simikot, connect with your scheduled domestic flight to Nepalgunj Airport, flying over the diverse landscapes of western Nepal—from high mountains to the lowland Terai plains.

From Nepalgunj, continue your final flight to Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to your hotel for a comfortable rest.
