Lobuche peak (6119m) climbing is another one of the famous climbing peaks in Nepal, located at Everest region. Alliance Adventure Pvt. One of the attractions of the peak is that one can have an opportunity to have views of hundreds of other peaks in the areas including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nupse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Ama Dablam, Khangtenga and Tawache among others. The peak has two sides to have summit—east edge (6119 m) and west edge (6145 m). The east edge is recognized especially as a trekking peak, whereas the west is known as an Expedition Peak. Lobuje being an attractive mountain offers various existing routes and also the potential for new peak climbing lovers.
Lobuche east can be reached by descending a marked notch and then climbing steep snowy slopes to the top. Lobuche peak was first successfully climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa in 1984. The trekking to the Lobuche peak climbing begins with some 35-min flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and head up to Phakding, Namche Bazar and following the route that takes to Everest base camp up to Gorak Shep and then turns to the Kala Pathar and then the trail heads to Lobuche peak region. Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) 6 to 7 hours. Namche Bazaar is one of the biggest market towns in Everest region as Acclimatization place of trekking and expedition. Today begins on the level ground, relative to the environment in which you are! You will cross the river on a high suspension bridge and begin to climb up to Monjo (2,835m) and onto the gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park Entrance in place to protect and preserve this beautiful environment. Trek from Lobuche to Gorak-Shep (5140m/16,860ft) 3 hours. After lunch hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) 2 to 3 hours then back to Lodge in Gorak-Shep. You will ascend gently, to begin with through lovely pasture lands; you will follow the rocky moraine path with views of the Khumbu Glacier. Gorakshep is on a flat field below Kala Pattar (5545m) and Pumori (7145m), good spot for lunch after lunch 2/3 hours walk, following to the present Everest Base Camp then back to Lodge.
