Tharpu Chuli peak (Tent Peak) climbing is one another most popular peak climbing situated in Annapurna region. The peak was nicknamed ‘Tent Peak’ by Jimmy Roberts in 1956. It is one of the most demanded peaks in Nepal as this peak climbing is often combined with the trekking in Annapurna circuit trekking. The trekking to the area begins from Pokhara, some 7-hour drive or 30-minute direct flight from Kathmandu, then drive up to Nayapul and begin trek to Ghorepani and have excursion over Poon Hill area and then continue to Chhomrong, Deurali and reach to Annapurna base camp, have excursion around then finally reach to Tharpuchuli base camp, have summit over this peak and return to Machhapuchre (fishtail) base camp and similarly return to Chhomrung and drive back to Pokhara and subsequently to Kathmandu.

Trek from ABC to Tharpu Chuli Base Camp (4,250m/13,940ft) 4 to 5 hours. The trail leads along the same of halfway before you reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp on left-hand continues through into the Annapurna glacier and you have to walk slowly with carefully on glacier. Trek from Base Camp to High Camp (5,200m/17,056ft) 4 to 5 hours. Today you are steep on Tharpu Chuli Peak (Tent Peak) to the High Camp. The track mostly uses to fix rope and helmet when you ascend on 50 to 60-degree steep path around 2 to 3 hours after that walk on the glacier about 30 degrees then toward your camp side. From the camp, you can get panoramic views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) and more other peaks. After lunch prepares the climbing gears for the summit. Climbing from High Camp to Summit Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak (5,800m/19,024ft) than back to High Camp 9 to 10 hours. You have to wake-up early morning at 2 t 3 am and hot breakfast then start your climbing begin to walk on the rock wall around 2 hours after that walking on the flat snow around an hour. The climbing slope steep of 70 degrees around 100m after that 30 to 40 minutes you will reach your final destination to top of the summit Tharpu Chuli Peak and get together sheering the happiness and group photo section. Extra day of Contingency: The weather does not guarantee that’s why this day set aside as a contingency encase unable to the summit to Pisang Peak on the desired day due to the bad weather or any other region. Tharpu Chuli, also known as Tent Peak, is a stunning trekking peak in the Annapurna Sanctuary of Nepal. It stands at an elevation of 5,663 meters and offers breathtaking views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and other Himalayan giants.
This is a moderate to challenging climb, suitable for climbers with basic mountaineering skills and prior high-altitude trekking experience. Technical sections and glacier navigation require good physical fitness and endurance.
