Langtang Helambu trekking is another popular trekking trail in Langtang region. The trekking in the area offers an opportunity to explore ancient villages, a wide range of animals such as red pandas, pika, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan Tahr, gharial, rhesus monkey and common langur. Subsequently, you also can enjoy the scenic views of the mountains–Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishanker, Ganesh Himal, Langshisa Ri, Gangchenpo, Yala peak, Naya Kanga, Annapurna Himalaya range and enjoy with the cultural blend of Tibetan Sherpa. Langtang Helambu trekking includes the trip to the remote and spectacular valley of the region and the high mountain lake known as Gosainkunda lake. This trekking is relatively low altitude trek and is considered to be one of the best areas for having a short trek, as it is close to Kathmandu. Laurebinayak is a high-altitude stop offering panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas Range and Ganesh Himal Range and the Tibet side peaks.
The trek from Laurebinayak to Gosainkunda (Holi Lake 4,420m/14,500ft) 3 to 4 hours, is a stunning high-altitude journey filled with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, serene landscapes, and the spiritual aura of the sacred Gosainkunda Lake. This section is a highlight of the Langtang-Gosainkunda trek and is often regarded as one of the most rewarding stretches.
