Pisang Peak (6091m) is one of another most demanded peak in Nepal. This trekking trail is usually combined with the trekking in Annapurna circuit trekking. The journey from High Camp to summit Pisang Peak (6,091m/19,984ft) and back to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380m/14,366ft) 9/10 hours, is the most exhilarating and demanding part of the trek. This section involves technical climbing, steep ascents, and significant altitude challenges, requiring physical fitness, mental resilience, and proper equipment. Early in the morning around 2-3 AM to ensure you reach the summit by early morning. This timing avoids harsh winds and unstable snow conditions later in the day. The steep climb over rocky and scree-laden terrain. In snowy conditions, crampons and an ice axe may be necessary. After the rocky trail, you’ll encounter a glacier, fixed ropes are often used for safety here, depending on the crevasse conditions and ridge climbing, requiring technical climbing skills. The ridge to the summit is exposed, so climbers must proceed with caution. From the summit breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna range, including Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, and Gangapurna. Climbing guide will give you a time 10-20 minutes at the summit for photos section because of altitude and colds.
