Rara lake trekking is one of the most demanded trekking trails in Nepal. Rara Lake is one of the largest lakes of Nepal, situated in Mugu district in the far western region, near Gam Ghadi (district-headquarter of Mugu) and Talca airstrip. Rara is a unique spot in Nepal. The lake is situated in the Rara National Park. It is situated in the remote area. The surface of Rara Lake is around 8 sq km. The length of the lake is 5 km and it is 2 km wide, the altitude around 3060 m. maximum depth is 167 m. This trek goes through the remote wilderness of western Nepal and offers a superb experience of nature and a visit to Rara Lake.

One of the features of this trekking is that you will have a chance to explore the beautiful high altitude lake—Rara, which is surrounded by alpine meadows and forests of pine, juniper, and spruce, whilst in the background, you can view the magnificent snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.

Welcome! Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted warmly by our representative holding a sign with your name for easy identification. You'll be welcomed with a traditional Nepali culture by flower garland as a gesture of good will and blessing.

Half Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley & prepare Rara Lake Trek: After breakfast, Alliance Adventure Tour Guide lead you one of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu’s Landmarks which are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the houses of living Hindu goddess and “Kumari House’’.

Take an early morning scenic flight from Nepalgunj Airport to Jumla Airport (2,540m/8,331ft), 20 minutes flight enjoying spectacular views of the mountains and remote landscapes of western Nepal. Upon arrival in Jumla, begin your trek through beautiful mountain trails, traditional villages, forests, and terraced fields. Continue towards Chere Chaur (3,055m/10,020ft) a peaceful highland surrounded by stunning natural scenery.

Continue along the trail, crossing small streams and enjoying the peaceful rural scenery of the Jumla region. As you approach Jumla Bazaar, the trail becomes more settled, with more villages and cultivated fields along the route.

You must start to train yourself when you are free once a week once or one day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
